Arizona's Copper Art Museum traces its roots back to 1919 and an antique shop in Northern Minnesota, whose collection grew so big a more permanent home was needed. Clarkdale, a former company town built by "America's Copper King," Senator W. A. Clark, was chosen as the new home for the museum's collection of copper art and artifacts. Exhibits and collections are divided into six categories: information, military art, architecture, kitchenware, drink ware, and distillery and winery, with an emphasis on American and European works-of-art from the 16th to the 21st century.
