Spur Cross Stables is a guided horseback-riding ranch located on the site of an 1870s gold mine near Cave Creek -- just north of Scottsdale.Our rides take us into the scenic Sonoran Desert, and the foothills of the Tonto National Forest, where riders experience a virtually undisturbed wilderness environment. We offer private and group rides from 1 hour up to 4 1/2 hours, for beginner and experienced riders alike. Groups are small in size, consisting of no more than seven riders.Step away from the hectic hustle of the city and enjoy the quiet solitude of the desert on our trusty horses, guided by our very informative, professional wranglers.
